Selena Gomez finally decided to move on from Justin Bieber after realizing that the singer is better off with his wife, Hailey Baldwin.

A source told In Touch Weekly that Gomez and Baldwin have also become good friends after years of being pitted against each other. Reconciliation came easy for the two women because Gomez is finally over her ex-boyfriend.

“She’s mature enough now to realize she and Justin were a recipe for disaster. She’s over him. She thinks Hailey is a good person and wishes her well,” the source said.

However, Bieber isn’t necessarily thrilled to know that his wife and ex-girlfriend are now friends. The “Baby” singer is allegedly worried about Gomez and Baldwin potentially comparing notes.

“He’s freaking out over them comparing notes. He’s even warned Hailey to keep her distance from Selena, despite calling a truce. As far as he’s concerned, all hell can break lose again at any moment,” the source said.

Baldwin and Gomez also shocked the entire world when they shared a photo of them during a recent hangout. The A-listers have been very clear that as women, they do not tear each other down.

The model and Gomez were also united in saying that Baldwin did not start her relationship with Bieber while the latter was still with Gomez. In fact, Bieber and Gomez have not been together for a long time before Baldwin entered the picture.

“After years of being pitted against each other, Selena and Hailey are on friendly terms. They’re both in very different places in their lives now, so they were finally able to put the past behind them and make peace,” the source said.

While it is true that Baldwin and Gomez are now friends, there’s no indication that they plan to keep hanging out with each other.

It’s not also true that Bieber is worried about the two women’s friendship because they could compare notes about him.

It’s obvious that the tabloid just can’t be happy for Baldwin and Gomez despite knowing that it took them years to bury the hatchet.

For now, Bieber and Baldwin are busy with their married life, as well as their respective careers. Their fans are waiting for the day when the couple would announce that they are finally expecting.

As for Gomez, the singer is also busy with her music career.
