Meghan Markle recently looked back at her time working on “Deal or No Deal” as a briefcase model. Following her comments and revelations about what the job made her feel at the time, royal commentators are said to have praised her for being “relatable.”

Express UK reported that Christina Garibaldi and Christine Ross discussed their thoughts about the former working royal’s statements in an episode of the “Royally Us” podcast. Aside from noting that many individuals can relate to her experiences, the hosts are also stated to have commended her honesty.

The discussions reportedly began with Ross stating that “‘Deal or No Deal’ feels like so long ago” in the Duchess of Sussex’s life. She is said to have asserted, however, that “a lot of us can relate to that,” referencing the former royal’s journey of taking a job that “didn’t represent who she wanted to be but paid the bills.”

The publication consequently quoted the podcast host, explaining, “A lot of people can relate to taking a job that you don’t love… but at least it’s a paycheck and learning from that experience. So, I thought this was relatable.”

Ross reportedly added, though, that Meghan Markle can sometimes “feel a little out-of-touch - up in her Montecito mansion.” But, the commentator is said to have still argued that the latest revelations of the former actress about her time on “Deal or No Deal” is a “nice reminder that she did have to start from the bottom.”

Express UK later noted that Garibaldi echoed her co-host’s assertions during the engagement. She is said to have agreed with Ross that the Duchess of Sussex “definitely… struggled to get to where she is today” as “she had to put in the work and put in the time,” adding that “it is a relatable conversation.”

The discussion between the royal commentators, alongside their praises, comes after Meghan Markle talked about the “bimbo” stereotype with Paris Hilton during a recent episode of her podcast, “Archetypes.”

Harper’s Bazaar, in its report covering the matter, stated that the Duchess of Sussex recalled her time on “Deal or No Deal” and told her guest and listeners about feeling grateful to have a job that pays the bills.

Despite this, though, she said she “ended up quitting the show” as she “was thankful for the job but not for how it made me feel, which was not smart.”

Elsewhere in the episode, Meghan Markle stated, "I didn't like feeling forced to be all looks and little substance, and that's how it felt for me at the time, being reduced to this specific archetype."
