Alex Rodriguez still hasn’t allegedly gotten over his relationship with Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck knows that this is the case.

A source told National Enquirer that a lot of people have been telling Affleck that Rodriguez is just waiting for him and Lopez to split so that he could swoop right back in.

The speculations became rifer after Rodriguez talked about Lopez and her children during an interview. He said that dating Lopez was a good experience. The former baseball star also called Lopez’s children smart and wonderful.

“Some folks think Alex is still holding out for when Ben and Jen inevitably implode so he can swoop back in,” the source said.

The source added that Affleck is trying his best to keep his cool. But he’s secretly threatened by Rodriguez.

“He’s putting the word out for him to shut up and stay away,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Rodriguez is still interested in Lopez. He simply talked about his ex-girlfriend after he was asked by the interviewer to comment on their past relationship.

It cannot also be denied that Rodriguez and Lopez had some wonderful memories with each other. And this could be why the athlete has so many nice things to say about his ex-girlfriend.

However, this doesn’t mean that he still wants to get back together with his ex.
