Kesha recently revealed that she suffered from a vocal hemorrhage following a recent live performance.

Now, National Enquirer is claiming that the damage could have permanent side effects on the singer. And one of them is her inability to sing for good.

“Her voice was reduced to a whisper and she was in full panic mode. Now, she’s talking to doctors and worried that her career could be crushed by her injury. It can take weeks or months to repair her voice and even then there’s no guarantee she’ll get it back,” the source said.

The tabloid spoke with a doctor who said that singers who suffer from vocal hemorrhage should stop singing until they get better.

“Patients have to stop singing or even talking for a period of time. And the vocal cords still may not heal completely if they’ve been damaged too badly,” the source said.

However, even the doctor’s statement is clear. The side effects of a vocal hemorrhage are not permanent. So there’s no reason for Kesha to worry and it’s not also true that she might no longer be able to sing permanently.

On Sept. 29, the singer penned an Instagram post talking about her wardrobe malfunction and said that she tried to distract the audience at the show from seeing her breasts by singing really loud. But doing so hurt her vocal cords.

“And today, I found out I hemorrhaged one of my vocal cords. Soooo. I’m posting all the pics from the [explicit] moment bc. This was quite a moment,” she captioned her on-stage photo.

At the time of the post, it was obvious that Kesha wasn’t very worried about her vocal hemorrhage. But this is not to say that the ordeal isn’t serious. It’s just obvious that the singer knows that it’s something that can be treated.

After all, Kesha isn’t the only singer who suffered from a vocal hemorrhage most of the others ones got out of the illness quickly with some rest and voice care.

As of late, the singer is busy with her career and her health. She also updates her fans regularly by sharing photos and videos of herself on social media. So, this shows that Kesha seems to be doing well after what happened almost a month ago.
