Kate Middleton Deemed ‘Favorite Royal’ Amid ‘Seamless’ Transition To New Role
Kate Middleton remains one of the most popular British Royals. She has even reportedly become today’s “favorite royal” in the country.
In its latest poll, Express UK said thousands of individuals voted for the new Princess of Wales as the nation’s favorite member of the British Royal Family under King Charles’ reign .
As reported, 14,788 people responded to the survey, which ran from October 5 to October 14, asking readers which British Royal is their favorite now Prince Charles is King.
The publication revealed that 34 percent of the respondents chose the future Queen Consort, adding that the total count of votes summed up to 5,093.
Several individuals who participated in the poll also reportedly shared a few thoughts about their votes in the comments section.
The outlet quoted one netizen, who appeared to have voted for either Kate Middleton or Prince William, writing, “Both William and Kate are on par with each other for my vote.”
Another respondent is said to have shared a similar assertion, noting that they like several members of the British Royal Family. However, the netizen reportedly argued that the “standout” for the vote “has to be Catherine” as she is “genuine, and honest and supports her hubby as he sits next in line to the throne,” adding that she is the “perfect princess.”
Following the result of the said poll, royal author and expert Katie Nicholl shared some insight into the new roles of Prince William and Kate Middleton. She believes that the transition to their posts as the new Prince and Princess of Wales has been “seamless,” according to People.
The magazine quoted the expert, saying, “William’s years of being mentored by his grandmother and his father have really paid off because the transition to Prince of Wales has been seamless.”
It continues, “Kate has also effortlessly moved into a role with so much weight and history and is already making it her own.”
Nicholl continued that Kate Middleton and Prince William remain “very true to who they are and the causes they have championed” even after taking on more senior roles, as per the publication.
Moreover, the expert, who authored “The New Royals,” reportedly added that the new Prince and Princess of Wales have “stepped up to the plate.”
Meanwhile, the Duke of Cornwall and Cambridge comes in second to the Duchess of Cornwall and Cambridge in Express UK’s latest poll.
The outlet said 3,499 respondents voted for him, making him the second most popular British Royal.
As for King Charles III, he reportedly comes in fourth with 1,382 votes. Princess Anne is said to have received 751 more than her brother’s, making her the third most favored royal in the same poll's list.
