Nicola Peltz allegedly enjoys it when fans and reporters call her the new Mrs. Beckham and she couldn’t care less about how this makes Victoria Beckham feel.

According to Closer UK, even Peltz’s husband, Brooklyn Beckham is also in on the moniker.

“Brooklyn and Nicola do feel like they’re the ‘it couple' of the moment – on the covers of the magazines and at all major events. She was in her element at Paris Fashion Week, doing interviews and basking in the limelight – with Brooklyn proudly watching on. They are like a young Posh and Becks and are pretty untouchable,” the source said.

The source added that Peltz has also been emulating her mother-in-law even though they are not necessarily on good terms.

“She’s loving grabbing the headlines and the pros that come from having a famous surname. She’s also loving the fashion links that have come with it and is constantly keeping her style fresh and up with the trends. She’s even been changing her hair, much like Posh used to do,” the source said.

However, Peltz allegedly refused to be tied to Victoria. Even though she’s been emulating her style, she also wants to make a name for herself in the industry. She also wants to be able to do things her own way without being accused of copying her mother-in-law.

As of late, Peltz and Victoria’s relationship remains strained. They allegedly had a falling out after Victoria changed her mind about making Peltz’s wedding gown. So, Brooklyn’s wife ended up wearing a Valentino creation to her wedding.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Peltz and Victoria are feuding. And it’s not also true that the model is intentionally copying Victoria’s hairstyle and fashion. It’s possible that these are all just pure coincidences.

It is also important to note that Peltz never commented on being called the new Mrs. Beckham. And even if she enjoys hearing the moniker, it’s unlikely for Victoria to be upset because she has had time. And the moniker is correct in the literal sense because Peltz just married Brooklyn, who is also a Beckham.

With this, it’s obvious that the tabloid is just making up stories to tarnish the Beckham family’s close relationship with each other.
