Queen Elizabeth’s death allegedly caused more tensions between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton instead of bringing them closer to each other.

In its Oct. 19 issue, Closer UK claimed that Markle and Middleton still do not get along. And their rivalry worsened after their recent reunion.

“Coming face-to-face last month has further ignited the rivalry between Meghan and Kate, rather than relieving tensions – with Meghan now being on an all-out mission to get one up on Kate. It’s almost become like a game of chess – with Meghan trying to outdo Kate every time she makes a move and intentionally making her own move in a bid to get one-up and undermine her,” the source said.

The source said that even though Markle’s moves may seem subtle, they are quite intentional. And it has always been her intention to outdo Middleton after all, Prince Harry’s wife has always felt that she was always in her sister-in-law’s shadow.

According to reports, Prince Harry and Markle are also planning to relocate to Hope Ranch, which is a very exclusive and high-end neighborhood. The couple allegedly came up with the idea after learning about Prince William and Middleton’s move to Adelaide Cottage.

“Meghan’s eyeing up moving to Hope Ranch has been very much prompted by Kate and William’s move to Adelaide Cottage. Meghan’s ensuring that every time there’s a story about Kate, she’s not far behind,” the source said.

The source added that it is still the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s goal to return to the limelight after years of being criticized. And they won’t stop at anything until they make this happen.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. There’s no truth to the claims that Markle is trying to upstage Middleton because she has always felt like she’s in her shadow.

The release of Markle and Prince Harry’s photo two days after the new Fab Four’s portrait dropped was purely coincidental.

As of late, there’s also no proof that Prince Harry and Markle are planning to leave Montecito for Hope Ranch because the Prince and Princess of Wales also moved homes recently.

All these claims are just concocted by the tabloid to pit the royal couple against the Sussexes. And this is something that they have been doing for years.
