Ellen DeGeneres is allegedly excited to go on her comedy tour after all these years.

Even though DeGeneres started in the industry as a standup comedian, she later became a host and wasn’t able to do live comedy shows for years. But according to Star, she’s back and she’s looking forward to sharing her new material.

“The feeling is that people want to hear Ellen talk in uncensored ways about her life, her money, her show, and her relationship with Portia de Rossi. It’s a chance to make a lot of comedy noise with material that goes deep on that stuff,” the source said.

The source also claimed that DeGeneres is not worried about giving her fans a feel-good show or how they will react.

“She’s not worried how they’ll react to this slightly twisted, edgier side of her. Ellen’s always had an edge, it’s just been stifled doing daytime TV. She thinks people are ready for some raw, uncensored material – enough with the sugarcoating,” the source said.

As of late, DeGeneres has not announced her plans for a full comedy tour. But this is a possibility because she no longer hosts The Ellen Show. Her wife, de Rossi, previously said that she wants the comedian to return to doing standup comedies because she loves doing this so much before.

But despite some of DeGeneres’ friends urging her to return to standup comedy, she has not announced her official tour dates and such. This means that the tabloid is just speculating on the possibility of DeGeneres holding a tour and what her material would be like.

Meanwhile, DeGeneres also made headlines this week after Charlie Puth accused her music label of not being there for him. The singer told Rolling Stone that he’s not blaming DeGeneres alone since it’s a collective matter.

Puth isn’t the only person who accused DeGeneres and her music label of ghosting them. Greyson Chance also made similar allegations about the comedian last month.

However, Chance also accused DeGeneres of being rude and manipulative, but Puth said that he didn’t experience the same issues with the funny woman. Puth joked that it might be because DeGeneres likes him.

As of late, DeGeneres has not yet responded to Puth and Chance’s recent allegations.
