Alec Baldwin is allegedly worried about the possibility of being sent to jail after shooting movie director Halyna Hutchins that’s why he’s thinking about eloping to Mallorca with his family.

According to National Enquirer, Baldwin is thinking long and hard about what his next move would be. But regardless, he doesn’t want to spend time in jail for something that he believes he didn’t do.

“Now he knows prison is a definite possibility. And he’s so terrified he’s ready to run,” a source said.

The source added that Baldwin has been selling some of his properties, which could indicate that he and his family are ready to leave the United States.

“Alec grew up in blue-collar Massapequa, Long Island. Living and socializing in the Hamptons was validation to him that he’d achieved the ultimate success. Giving that up had to be a matter of life and death to him,” the source said.

The source also claimed that Baldwin has been panicking over the possibility that he would spend years or even a lifetime in jail.

“He doesn’t want to face charges and will do anything to get out of it,” the source said.

The tabloid also took Baldwin’s recent statement following the arrival of his seventh child as another clue about his plans.

Baldwin recently said that his children, particularly his seventh child, kept him alive in the past year, which proved to be very difficult for him.

However, there’s no indication that Baldwin has plans to leave the United States or escape jail time. If he will be convicted of killing Hutchins, there’s no way for him to escape his prison sentence.

After all, even people who flee the United States to try and hide from authorities are eventually found. So, what more for Baldwin who is a famous actor?

As of late, there’s also no confirmation as to whether Baldwin would be charged for the accidental shooting of his director.

But following the incident, Baldwin was canceled in Hollywood. He has not been given new roles and new projects amid fears that they would be a flop.

The actor was also slammed because of his previous interview when he said that he wasn’t the one to blame for shooting Hutchins. After all, someone put a loaded gun in his hand.
