Gwen Stefani doesn’t allegedly want Blake Shelton to still be friends with Adam Levine.

In its Oct. 17 issue, Star claimed that Stefani immediately asked Shelton to end his friendship with Levine after he was accused of cheating by multiple women.

A source said that Stefani is not worried about Levine influencing Shelton to cheat on her. But what she hates is the fact that the Maroon 5 singer flirted with other women while he is married to Behati Prinsloo.

“For her, it’s personal. She isn’t worried about Adam being a bad influence on Blake, this is about principle,” the source said.

But even before Levine was accused of cheating, his friendship with Shelton was no longer as solid as it once was. The source pointed out that the “She Will Be Loved” singer wasn’t even invited to Shelton and Stefani’s wedding in Oklahoma.

However, it is important to note that Shelton and Stefani have not commented on the issue that Levine is facing. So, no one knows for sure where the couple stands.

But it seems unlikely for Stefani to force her husband to end his friendship with Levine just because of what happened. After all, even Levine’s wife is standing by his side amid the controversy.

Levine has also denied ever cheating on Prinsloo. But he admitted that he made a mistake when he sent a slew of stunning women messages on social media.

“A lot is being said about me right now and I want to clear the air. I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in any kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period of my life,” he said (via E! News).

However, Levine also insisted that he and Prinsloo were resolving their issues. And it seems they are on the path of healing because the couple has been stepping out in public ever since the scandal broke out.

Shelton and Stefani’s marriage also seems to be going strong contrary to rumors that the latter wants some space from her husband. The couple currently works together in The Voice, which means that they have been spending a lot of time with each other. But this is what married couples do.
