Donald Trump recently addressed the claims about him nearly firing Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner from their posts inside the White House via Twitter. He reportedly dismissed the story, adding that it did not happen.

OK! magazine reported that the former U.S. President shared his thoughts on the matter during a recent rally in Warren, Michigan.

Aside from quashing the claims, he is also said to have slammed Maggie Haberman, who wrote the story in question in her newly released book, “Confidence Man: The Making of Donald Trump and the Breaking of America.”

The magazine quoted Trump from the rally, reportedly saying, “I had a story the other day that I wanted to fire my daughter Ivanka; that didn’t happen.”

Express UK released a similar report earlier this week, detailing the former country leader’s comments at the said rally. As noted, he called the allegation “disgusting.”

The publication shared elsewhere in its report, published Monday, that Donald Trump met with Maggie Haberman three times as she worked on the book entitled “Confidence Man: The Making of Donald Trump and the Breaking of America.”

The former U.S. President also reportedly commented that he “love[s] being with her,” adding that Haberman is “like my psychiatrist.”

The outlet furthermore reported that the author shared about her feeling unsurprised over Trump agreeing to meet with her in person multiple times. It is said that she described, as well, how “he talked to everybody for their books,” with a remark, saying, “It’s an almost reflexive need to sell himself.”

Express UK recalled later in the same report that Donald Trump called Maggie Haberman his “self-appointed biographer” and a “bad writer with very bad sources” ahead of the rally in Warren on his Truth Social platform.

Meanwhile, the allegation about Donald Trump nearly firing Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner seemingly first surfaced earlier last week ahead of the book’s release Tuesday.

People, in its report, published last Wednesday, covered the claim Maggie Haberman wrote in her material. As noted, she alleges that the former U.S. President mentioned firing the then-First Daughter and her husband in meetings with his former chief of staff, John Kelly, and former White House counsel, Don McGahn.

The author continues that Trump even suggested he could announce his daughter and son-in-law’s exits via Twitter, but Kelly stopped him, as per the magazine.

Ultimately, Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump remained in their respective posts as senior aides inside the White House during Donald Trump's presidency.
