Kim Kardashian Pays Touching Tribute To Robert Kardashian: ‘I Can Always Feel You’
Nearly two decades have passed since Robert Kardashian died. But, while he is long gone, Kim Kardashian has never forgotten him.
On the 19th anniversary of her father’s death, the 41-year-old reality star shared a touching tribute to honor him. She took her posts to Instagram Stories, featuring handwritten notes between the two from the past.
One of the Stories, posted Saturday, is a photo of Robert’s message to his daughter. Kim captioned the picture, writing, “19 years ago my daddy passed away.”
It continues, “I miss coming home to these notes that I could hardly read w his left handwriting. I love you so much dad, I can always feel you.”
Us Weekly, in its recent report covering the matter, recalled that Robert Kardashian passed away at the age of 59 in 2003. As noted, he was diagnosed with esophageal cancer two months before his passing.
Kim Kardashian is one of Robert’s four children with his first wife, Kris Jenner. The marriage lasted for about 13 years, from 1978 to 1991.
The SKIMS founder also shared several more photos of other notes, including a Father’s Day card she gave him in 2002. She revealed in the picture via text caption that her father “saved every card” she wrote him.
As for the message the reality star wrote on the card, it reads, “Dad- I just want you to know how much I appreciate everything you do for me. I love working for you! I love you and happy fathers day! [Heart] Kimberly.”
Aside from photos of handwritten messages, Kim Kardashian also posted clips of some of their previous outings. One of the videos shows the lawyer skiing with the rest of the family, with the reality star revealing that it was an annual activity.
E! News, in its report covering Kim’s social media update, quoted her video caption, writing, “We skied every Thanksgiving. Best memories ever! And the reason I love skiing today, especially with my kids.”
To date, the “Kardashians” star, who has four children of her own, appears to be following the footsteps of Robert Kardashian.
She currently works on becoming a lawyer, like her father, who gained recognition when he became part of O.J. Simpson’s defense team in his highly publicized murder trial in 1995.
Kim Kardashian began her journey to becoming a lawyer in 2018. Us Weekly recalled that it was not until a year later, though, that she revealed about her secretly registering “with the California State Bar to study law.”
At the time, the reality star’s goal was reportedly to pass the bar in 2022. However, she failed the “baby bar” thrice in two years from 2020, although she passed on her fourth try in December 2021.
