Vin Diesel allegedly wants to restore his reputation in Hollywood after getting into arguments and fights with other A-listers just like him.

In its Oct. 3 issue, National Enquirer claimed that the Fast & Furious actor is determined to get it right this time around. After all, he realized that having a bad rep in Hollywood wouldn’t do him any good.

“He’s turned off so many people with his behavior and knows it, and he’s determined to reverse things ASAP. Vin’s going on the charm offensive, working extremely hard to be the good cop with his co-stars, palling around, and showering them with gifts and invites to his home for gourmet meals and screenings,” the source said.

This is a far cry from what Diesel used to do with the other celebrities. For instance, he’s known for showing up late on the set of the movies that he was a part of. And he also had the tendency of messing up his lines to the point that his co-stars need to wait very long hours just for him to get it right.

Diesel also allegedly got into massive fights with his Fast & Furious co-stars, most especially director Justin Lin.

“Diesel was the reason Justin quit and that really hurt his standing. Now, he’s working his ass off and playing up the daddy angle, too, portraying himself as a family man with baby mama Paloma Jimenez,” the source said.

The source added that Diesel’s new kiss-up attitude was also on display when he attended the wedding of Jordana Brewster. While there, the actor was allegedly being extremely friendly towards everyone.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Diesel is a hated celebrity in Hollywood because of his attitude and behavior toward other actors like him.

If he doesn’t have a bad rep in Hollywood then there’s no reason for him to make it up to those who he wronged.

It’s obvious that the tabloid is just out to get Diesel and this isn’t the first time that they criticized the actor due to his work ethic.

However, no one from the set of his movies directly complained about him. And this proves that he doesn’t enemies, especially on the set of Fast & Furious.
