Sources claimed that Rihanna is already preparing for the Super Bowl Halftime Show. It comes as the NFL has confirmed she will headline the act, which will occur in 2023.

HollywoodLife exclusively learned from an insider that the 34-year-old songstress “wants to be flawless” for the show. As claimed, she is a “perfectionist,” although it is said that she “is feeling great” about her upcoming performance.

A second source seemingly echoed the claims, telling the publication that the “What’s My Name?” singer “wants to make sure everything is perfect” about the upcoming act. It is also stated that she wants to ensure “her vision is carried out with every single detail,” adding that “they’re in the very early planning stages” already.

Rihanna has yet to make official comments regarding the announcement. It is also unclear whether preparations have already, indeed, begun.

But, the sources’ claims come after the NFL confirmed in an official statement Sunday that the “Ocean’s Eight” actress will headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

Variety, in its report covering the matter, quoted the NFL’s head of music, Seth Dudowsky, in a statement, announcing, “We are thrilled to welcome Rihanna to the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show stage. Rihanna is a once-in-a-generation artist who has been a cultural force throughout her career.”

Earlier on Tuesday, TMZ learned from sources that the songstress and her creative team are working hard planning the upcoming performance. They are allegedly considering whether she will perform solo or have guests join her on stage.

Insiders told the outlet that a list of nearly “50 possible names” will potentially serve as her guests. It was also noted that everyone Rihanna has worked with over the years is sensible to appear possibly.

TMZ later pointed out that there have been no final decisions on the matter yet, as per sources. But, the “Battleship” actress will reportedly have the final say.

Elsewhere in the report from HollywoodLife, the same insiders discussed how A$AP Rocky is supporting Rihanna in her preparations for the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

Reportedly, the “Fashion Killa” artist “has been so supportive of her in helping her to make the decision to do this.” As added, “he has been her biggest fan through this whole process and he will continue to be.”

The second source had similar assertions, telling the publication, “Rocky has been a huge support system and told her that he plans on helping however he can.” It is also claimed that “whether that be to watch the baby day and night so she can rehearse, he let her know that he’s got her back.”
