Martha Stewart is allegedly thrilled that her fans are linking her to Kim Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend, Pete Davidson. However, she’s not one to date a man much younger than her.

National Enquirer recently claimed that Stewart wants to date someone close to her age or even older.

“Martha and Pete are good friends, but she isn’t one to rob the cradle. She hopes to find a man in his 60s or 70s, who’s successful and comfortable in his own skin who will romance her and give her the companionship she desperately wants,” the source said.

The source also said that Stewart is being more careful these days especially when it comes to the love department. After all, she was married before but it all ended in divorce.

And then she also got engaged in 2008 only for her fiancé to call off their engagement so that he could be with a much younger woman.

“Martha was incredibly scarred by what she felt was like a betrayal. To this day, she’s wary of falling in love with a man and then having them trade her in for a younger model,” the source said.

However, Stewart also acknowledges the fact that as she gets older, the more difficult it has become for her to find men to date.

“At her age, Martha has watched her dating pool shrink. But she has many friends who are out there scouting for eligible guys for her who aren’t married,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that fans of Stewart are linking her to Davidson. The only people linking her to the Saturday Night Live alum are the ones working for the tabloid.

It’s not also true that Stewart is actively searching for a man to date. It seems that her words were also taken out of context because she previously joked about having a crush on the husbands of her female friends.

However, this remark was meant as an innocent joke and should not be taken seriously.

If Stewart wants to date then she will and there’s no reason for the tabloid or the fans to dictate what she should do. In the same way, if she doesn’t want to date anyone then the choice is also up to her.
