Robert Irwin and Bindi Irwin are allegedly feuding because the former’s dreams to be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe were dashed by his older sister.

A source told New Idea that Bindi always knew that being part of the MCU is one of Robert’s biggest dreams. But she still accepted a huge role in the coveted franchise.

“Robert has made no secret of the fact that he wants a Hollywood action role. Robert has been pretty single-minded. He spends hours in the gym every day, networks like a champion with the likes of Russell Crowe and Chris Hemsworth, and is seen as very much a real-life superhero thanks to his work with crocodiles,” the source said.

So, everyone around him knew that he would one day be cast in a Marvel film that’s why everyone was surprised when Bindi got the call.

The source also claimed that Bindi didn’t want to hurt her brother’s feelings that’s why she initially kept her role a secret. But Robert later found out that his sister will voice a character in an animated series.

“It came as a bit of a rude shock that Bindi is still seen as the more bankable star largely because of the huge amounts of press she’s generated almost from birth. He privately admits he’s disappointed he wasn’t also asked to voice an animation too. That said, Robert is Bindi’s biggest fan and supporter. He just hoped this time might be his chance,” the source said.

Prior to this, there were also rumors that Robert will compete in Dancing With the Stars just like his older sister. He was still a young boy when Bindi appeared on the show and won the mirror ball trophy.

However, there are rumors that Robert decided to back out from the opportunity amid fears that he wouldn’t do as well as Bindi. Robert allegedly doesn’t want to be compared with Bindi because this is what he went through all his life.

Still, there’s no reason to believe the claims being made by the tabloid. It’s obvious that Robert and Bindi are just being pitted against each other even if there’s no reason to do this in the first.

The siblings are very close and they also support each other’s endeavors no matter what they might be.
