Royal Commentator Claims Now Is The Perfect Time For Prince Harry, Meghan Markle To Heal Their Rift With The Royal Family
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are still in the United Kingdom, but they wouldn’t stay back for very long. After all, the couple needs to return to the United States to be with their kids.
While speaking with Closer UK, royal commentator Duncan Larcombe said that now is the perfect time for Prince Harry and Markle to heal their rift with the royal family because they are already in the United Kingdom.
“With Harry and Meghan, we’ve seen a mild ceasefire with the queen’s passing and it has the potential to be a good thing. They have effectively spent a week in the same place as William and Kate. They’re so close now geographically that if there’s any chance of the rift starting to heal, it really is now," he said.
Prince William and Middleton can also do their part by airing their grievances against Prince Harry and Markle. However, they still need to be careful because whatever they tell the Sussexes may end up on Netflix one day.
Larcombe also pointed out that Prince Harry and Markle already received olive branches from King Charles and Prince William in the past two weeks. And this shows that the royal family may also be ready to bury the hatchet with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Of course, royal fans can’t help but wonder what will happen to the Sussexes, King Charles, and the Waleses after they go their separate ways again and return to their jobs.
“This is a crucial time if there’s to be any hope of healing the rift. But can we expect the royals to forget comments made by Meghan about a senior member being a secret racist? Who knows what this means for Harry’s memoir? I don’t know what sort of deal Harry’s agreed to, but I think it may have passed the point of no return and become very problematic for him,” he said.
As of late, no one knows for sure where the royal family stands with Prince Harry and Markle. But one thing’s for certain they are focused on moving on and dealing with the death of Queen Elizabeth.
For now, it seems that all parties would set their issues aside. But when the time comes, it is possible for everything to resurface again.
