Much to the chagrin of the From Not to Hot star June Shannon, her daughter Alana Thompson (a.k.a. Honey Boo Boo) is refusing to return home. She is currently living with her sister Pumpkin.

In a recently aired episode of Mama June: From Not to Hot, June was seen amid a dramatic intervention as her family along with Dr. Ish Major urged the 40-year-old reality TV star to turn her life around. In one of the intervention clips, it is suggested that her health is deteriorating to the stage where her teeth have started rotting.

The clip shows Honey Boo Boo admitting that she is living with her sister citing an unsafe living environment at home. June chimes in, clarifying that moving out was her daughter’s choice. While initially, it looked like Honey Boo Boo was restlessly waiting to be her home with her mother, but things changed drastically as Mama June continued saying things that made the situation progressively worse.

Things have been extremely chaotic for the family recently. According to a TMZ report, Honey Boo Boo isn't willing to go back home because of her mother's boyfriend Geno Doak. Unnamed sources told the outlet she will not move back until Mama June is still with Geno. If reports doing the rounds online are anything to go by, Honey Boo Boo wants June to break up with Geno, aside from entering a rehab facility.

TMZ report suggests Mama June's family doesn't like Geno citing his history of reckless behavior, and substance abuse. Geno was reportedly so intoxicated while driving that he crashed their family's SUV into June's house. On top of that, he couldn't even walk and kept collapsing. The outlet claim Mama June asked the help of her neighbor to bring Geno inside her home.

An interview with Hollywood Life, Family law attorney Jonathan V. Dunn said the aforesaid incident could have a negative impact on Mama June's effort to acquire her daughter Honey Boo Boo's full custody. However, Dunn explained that it wasn't entirely dispositive, as there are several other factors the Georgia trial court considers when it comes to delivering a custody determination.

Despite Mama June moving back into her home, her daughter has refrained from following suit. Alana, 13, is reportedly unwilling to live with her troubled mother, particularly because of who she is dating at the moment. In other words, Honey Boo Boo wants her mother to break up with Geno if she wants her to come back and live with her.
