Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen are at a crossroads in their marriage, but both parties are not willing to give up without a fight.

An unnamed source told Globe that Brady decided to take a break from his team’s training camp so that he could focus on his marriage.

“Tom’s never going to admit it publicly, but it’s an open secret he and Gisele are at a crossroads. They’ve been papering over the cracks for the longest time, but now they’re sitting down to figure out a solution before it’s too late,” the source said.

The source also claimed that Bundchen seemingly became uninterested in their marriage after Brady took back his word about quitting football for good. The model thought that she and her husband could finally focus on their kids and each other.

So, after Brady changed his mind, Bundchen allegedly sent him to the dog house. But now, the athlete is promising his wife again that this will be his final season.

“Tom is trying to reassure Gisele this will be his final season, but she’s heard all these empty promises before. He knows Gisele is at the end of her rope, which is why he pulled this dramatic move of skipping training. Tom doesn’t care if people think he’s whipped. He’s pulling out all the stops to keep Gisele happy and hoping it’s not too late,” the source said.

While it is true that Brady had a change of heart regarding his football career, there’s still no confirmation that his decision caused permanent damage to his marriage to Bundchen.

As of late, the couple has not released a statement regarding their separation or divorce, which means that everyone is just speculating about their marriage.

A source also told People that the couple hit a rough patch in their marriage recently.

“There's a lot of tension. She was so happy when he announced his retirement, and she wasn't thrilled at all when he went back on that. They’re hitting a rough patch. But I know they're trying, or at least he's trying, to figure it out and make it work. He wants to get through this and for things to get better,” a source said.

But until Brady and Bundchen confirm the reports, it’s still best to assume that the couple is happily married to each other until today.
