Britney Spears is accused of playing favorites between her two sons, Preston and Jayden Federline.

According to Heat UK, Spears is upset with her youngest son for speaking out in defense of his grandparents, Jamie Spears and Lynne Spears.

The “Toxic” singer was surprised when Jayden told 60 Minutes Australia that he wants his mom to get better mentally. And only then will he reunite with her.

However, Spears was offended by her son’s remarks and she said that she’s sick and tired of hearing people tell her that they want her to get better.

In her lengthy rant, Spears also claimed that she no longer believes in God and has not been praying as her way of sarcastically shutting her son down.

But it is what she said about her eldest son, Preston that caught the attention of her fans and critics alike. After all, they couldn’t help but notice that the 16-year-old could be his mom’s favorite.

“I helped your father, who hasn’t had a job in 15 years. I assume it is easier for you guys not to have someone check on you to make sure you’re doing your homework. I’m sure the standards of your dad smoking weed every day benefit your daily life… If you could pause for a second, remember where you came from. I hope you can look in the mirror and remember you are my child and always will be,” she said.

Spears then said that since her eldest son, Preston did not throw shade at her in the documentary, she decided to send him her love. Spears added that she hopes to see her sons one day but knows that this would only happen if they are willing to bury the hatchet with her.

However, Spears also threw shade at her son, Jayden for talking about her mental health. She said that the 15-year-old must first learn how to pick up and read a book before commenting on his mom’s struggles.

Following her lengthy reply, several people came to Spears’ defense and slammed her son for disrespecting the singer.

But Spears later explained that she understands where her son is coming from. So, there’s no bad blood between them.

As of late, it’s unclear if Spears’ relationship with her son will still be repaired. But one can only hope that their issues will get fixed.
