Khloe Kardashian Opens Up About Motherhood: ‘I Take My Job Very Seriously’
Khloe Kardashian recently opened up about motherhood. It comes after she welcomed her second child with her former partner, Tristan Thompson.
Speaking to Elle for an interview, the 38-year-old socialite touched on her experiences as a mother. She shared an insight into her new life as a mom of two children after having her youngest earlier this month.
Kardashian said that she knows “it is cliche,” but she loves “everything” about motherhood, “even the hard parts. She also noted that her two kids “challenge [her] as a person,” adding that “being able to shape little people into really incredible big people is an honor and a gift.”
People, in its report covering the exchange, quoted the celebrity, saying, “We have to take those roles seriously, especially in today’s day and age, with how much accessibility children have and the information they are exposed to so young.”
It continues, “It’s super scary, but I take my job very seriously. I love it so much.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Khloe Kardashian also revealed that her eldest child is "very on trend." It came after the interviewer asked her whether her 4-year-old daughter loves pink and is all over it.
The reality star stated, “pink or lavender,” adding that “everything is pink” for her child. She also pointed out that her little one is a “pink girl, through and through.”
Khloe Kardashian has two children, whom she shares with her ex-boyfriend, Tristan Thompson. They had their eldest in 2018, while their youngest earlier this month via surrogate.
Days after the birth of her son, a source told People that the Good American co-founder was “on cloud nine.” As claimed, getting a sibling for her child had been “such a journey.”
Kardashian was also reportedly “very excited to be a mom again.” Moreover, it was stated that “she really wanted a baby boy.”
The “Kardashians” star has yet to reveal the name of her son. An insider previously claimed that she was “taking her time” to name her second child as she wanted it to be “just right.”
News of the second child’s arrival, which surfaced earlier in July, shocked fans and followers. As it happened, it came months after Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson ended things between them for good.
Following the reports, the reality star’s camp confirmed the matter to publications, including The Hollywood Reporter. As stated, she and the NBA player were expecting a child together via surrogate.
THR quoted the rep’s official statement, saying, “We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November. Khloe is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing.”
It continues, “We’d like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloe can focus on her family.”
