Leonardo DiCaprio, Camila Morrone End Romance After 4 Years: Sources
Leonardo DiCaprio and Camila Morrone have reportedly broken up. Four years after first sparking dating rumors, sources claimed they have split and parted ways for good.
People was the first to report the matter later on Tuesday. But, insiders did not reveal the reasons for the celebrities’ split, with the magazine noting that the pair kept their relationship mostly private.
The 47-year-old actor and the 25-year-old model have yet to make official statements regarding the reports. Reps for both celebrities are also said to have declined to comment.
Witnesses last saw Leonardo DiCaprio and Camila Morrone together in France in July. A separate source told Us Weekly that although they “were very close,” they have not been seen together since the getaway, adding, however, that the model has been “filming all summer.”
Meanwhile, it is claimed that the “Titanic” star has been attending events and going on vacations without the model in the last few weeks. As noted, “he has been spending more time hanging out with all his pals like Tobey McGuire and Jamie Foxx.”
Page Six, in its piece covering the said breakup, pointed out that sources have already confirmed the split. It also recalled that the first signs of tension between Morrone and DiCaprio started to show earlier in May,
As reported, eyewitnesses saw the “Shutter Island” actor comforting the “Death Wish” actress amid an emotional conversation on a beach in Malibu.
The paparazzi told the outlet at the time that Camila Morrone was seen “making a furrowed facial expression,” while Leonardo DiCaprio appeared to “listen intently” as he kept his sights toward the ground.
It remains unclear, however, when the two celebrities decided to split. When asked for comment, reps for both stars did not immediately return to the publication's request.
Camila Morrone and Leonardo DiCaprio first faced dating speculations between December 2017 and January 2018. Insider reported that the two personalities presumably spent the holidays with one another.
In November 2018, the “Inception” star and the “Valley Girl” actress seemingly debuted their relationship after attending a soccer game together.
In May 2019, Morrone and DiCaprio attended the Cannes Film Festival. She was at the event to promote her film, “Mickey and the Bear,” while his attendance was for the premiere of “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.”
The two celebrities did not pose for red carpet photos, though. But, reports said that the actor was later seen taking snaps of the model outside of the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes.
The low-key romance continued in the years that followed. They have not address any report about their relationship, although Camila Morrone had interviews wherein she talked about the difficulties of dating an A-lister and age differences between couples.
