Jennifer Aniston allegedly has a crush on Jon Hamm and she will do everything that she can to make sure that they would be able to spend time with each other.

In its Aug. 31 issue, Heat UK claimed that Aniston asked the casting directors of her new show to tap Hamm so that they can see each other on set almost every day.

“Jen pushed hard for Jon to join the show as he’s a great actor, and it’ll make the set a whole lot more enjoyable having him around during those long hours of shooting. It’s a fairly sociable environment once the cameras stop rolling, too, so she and everyone else will make him feel welcome,” the source said.

But the source also stressed that Hamm is in a relationship and Aniston has no plans of being the other woman. The Friends alum also respects the fact that Hamm is happily dating someone else.

“Jen just hopes to become better friends with Jon then wait and see how the dynamic is between them and hopefully build on the spark she’s felt in the past. If it’s meant to be at some point in the future then it’s a dream come true and it’ll justify her patience in hanging around so long for Mr. Right,” the source said.

According to the source, Aniston has had a crush on Hamm for the past 15 years. But she never acted on it because she was always either in a relationship or he was.

But if The Morning Show star’s friends ask her which guy from the industry he wants to try and date, Aniston’s usual response if allegedly Hamm.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. As of late, there’s no proof that Aniston is interested in Hamm. And even if she is, it’s unlikely for the actress to exert any effort if the actor is dating another woman.

The tabloid’s claims also seemed disrespectful to all the parties involved. After all, they claimed that Aniston respects Hamm and his partner’s relationship. But the actress also wants to wait and see what could happen to her and Hamm in the future.

This suggests that Aniston is waiting for Hamm and his partner to break up so that she could be with him.
