Kate Moss has been in the industry for decades, but it is only now that she finally decided to take charge of her own life.

A source told Heat UK that the model wants to do something different now that she’s hitting the big 5-0. 

“As Kate approaches the big five-oh, it’s niggling at her that she never quite realized her own potential. She was so much more than a party girl – she was renowned for her creativity and networking skills. It pisses her off that she never got the credit or any recognition for that and she wants it now,” the source said.

The source claimed that Moss wants to submerge herself in the world of wellness. And she also wants to make sure that she would excel in the niche. After all, wellness is just one of her many passions.

“At first, Kate just wanted to find products that she loved but then she became really passionate about sharing her knowledge. She wasn’t sure she could build a business from it, but her decision to do so was influenced by Lila,” the source said.

The insider added that Moss wants the brand Cosmoss to succeed because she wants to build something for her daughter.

“She wants to give her something more solid than modeling. Whenever Kate talked about setting up a business, it was always with Lila in mind. That’s what mattered most to her,” the source said.

Meanwhile, the model has also been making headlines in recent months in relation to her ex-boyfriend, Johnny Depp. After Moss testified on behalf of The Pirates of the Caribbean actor, multiple publications claimed that the model did what she did because she still has feelings for Depp.

At one point, some of the tabloids also became convinced that Moss and Depp would soon hang out and talk about their past relationship. And within a few months’ time, the exes will allegedly get back together.

However, this isn’t what happened. And Moss simply testified on behalf of Depp because she wanted to do the right thing. It’s not true that she and Depp are still interested in each other after all these years.

What’s true is that Moss wants to grow her brand, Cosmoss not just for herself but also for her entire family.
