The root cause of Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle’s feud has finally been revealed.

Initially, there were claims that the sisters-in-law got into a misunderstanding during Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress fitting. But Tatler managed to reveal that there’s more to the story.

Markle, who was set to wed Prince Harry in 2018, invited her bridesmaids for their dress fitting. Since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s nuptials took place in May, there were concerns that the weather would be too hot for the bridesmaids.

As such, Markle didn’t want Princess Charlotte and the other kids to wear tights. However, Middleton reminded Markle of the royal protocol regarding dress codes. She said that bridesmaids are supposed to wear tights during formal occasions like weddings.

However, on the day of Prince Harry and Markle’s wedding, Princess Charlotte arrived without her tights. This proves that Markle is the one that won the argument then.

After her royal wedding, Markle continued to break royal protocol. And the publication claimed that Middleton questioned what her sister-in-law was doing. This reportedly did not sit well with the Suits alum.

In March, reports also revealed that Prince William and Middleton are upset with the Sussexes for their sudden decision to quit the royal family.

A source said that the Cambridges think Prince Harry and Markle are so selfish for leaving them with more work when they are parents to three young children.
