Piers Morgan recently slammed Meghan Markle after the latter dropped the first episode of her new podcast, Archetypes.

The Duchess of Sussex spoke with Serena Williams in the first episode and their topics centered on motherhood and ambition.

But after hearing the two women’s topic, Morgan lashed out at Markle by saying that she’s attaching negative connotations associated with ambitious women because of her choice of words.

“I don't ever remember personally feeling the negative connotation behind the word ambitious until I started dating my now-husband. And apparently, ambition is a terrible terrible thing, for women that is, according to some,” Markle said.

Morgan responded to Markle’s statement by saying that it’s not her ambition that the public dislikes. Rather, it’s the way she has been treating the royal family.

“It’s the vile way you trash the Royal Family whilst simultaneously exploiting your royal status for millions of dollars as with this podcast,” Morgan wrote (via Daily Star).

The British journalist also called Markle Princess Pinocchio for allegedly making false and inaccurate claims.

However, several royal fans came to Markle’s defense and slammed Morgan.

One of them said that nobody likes the host.

“Go sit down and shut up why don't you? Ambitious shouldn't have a negative connotation. Unless you think it's ok for them to be parasitic losers like the ones you stuck with,” the royal fan said.

Another royal fan claimed that Morgan is still upset over the fact that a woman exercised her right to never speak to him again.

Years ago, Morgan revealed that he and Markle shared some history with each other. The two became friends before the Duchess of Sussex was introduced to Prince Harry.

But shortly after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex started dating, she allegedly cut ties with Morgan and stopped taking his calls. Morgan wasn’t also invited to Prince Harry and Markle’s royal wedding.

Since then, Morgan has seemingly made it his mission to slam every single thing that Markle says or does. He had something to say regarding Markle’s fallout with Kate Middleton and the royal family.

And Morgan also had something negative to say about Markle when it came to her relationship with her dad, Thomas Markle Sr.

But despite everything that he’s said, Markle never responded to Morgan’s criticisms.
