Nicola Peltz and Victoria Beckham allegedly had a falling out after the former refused to wear a dress designed by her mother-in-law.

But what’s worse is that Peltz is accused of lying about what really happened based on what she said during her interview. 

According to Woman’s Day, Brooklyn Beckham’s wife claimed that she was supposed to wear a Victoria Beckham creation for her wedding. But at the last minute, Posh Spice told her that she couldn’t accommodate her wedding gown. 

As such, the American model was forced to wear a gown designed by Valentino. 

However, sources close to Victoria claimed that this isn’t really what happened. After all, the mom of four was ready to design Peltz’s dress especially since she was going to be her first daughter-in-law, but she was the one who backed out at the last minute. 

“In what world would she not have wanted to design her firstborn child’s bride’s gown? It makes no sense,” the source said.

The source also claimed that Brooklyn’s decision to use Peltz’s surname shocked his entire family. And it made it seem as though the young couple was trying to break barriers but failed to impress the public.

After all, when couples tie the knot, it is more common for the bride to carry their husband’s surname. And most often than that, the groom doesn’t carry their bride’s maiden name.

However, Brooklyn allegedly wants to be called Brooklyn Peltz Beckham in honor of his wife. But he’s accused of wanting to attach himself to the surname because he knows that Peltz’s family is loaded. 

“The whole thing does rather smack of Nicola using her rich father’s Hollywood connections to get Brooklyn out there in such a blatant way. Vic and David love their son, but they were also encouraging him to graft his way up the ladder on his own merits. But Nicola and her family have blown that out of the water,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. As of late, there’s no proof that Peltz and Victoria are not on good terms. In fact, the model recently revealed during her interview that everyone in their family gets along well.

So, all of the claims being made by the tabloid about the in-laws are just made up.
