There is only one secret to having a healthy and happy marriage for Alison Brie and Dave Franco. She said it is all about having “good communication” between her and her husband.

The “Horse Girl” actress spoke to Entertainment Tonight at the premiere of her new film, “Spin Me Round.” She talked about her marriage to the “Nerve” star, as well as their most recent collaboration.

Brie shared that “communication” is the secret to maintaining her happy and healthy marriage of more than five years. She noted that “it is all about good communication,” adding that they “make an effort to connect every day” as it is “important,” especially when working apart.

The 39-year-old actress stated that it is also likely why she and Franco “try to work together so much,” allowing them to “spend more time together,.. So [they] do not have to be apart so much.”

In the same exchange, Alison Brie discussed her and her husband’s latest and upcoming project, “Somebody I Used To Know.” It is a romantic dramedy, co-written by the pair, with the 37-year-old actor directing the material.

The “Community” actress said that as a director, Dave Franco is “extraordinary.” She also revealed that “the best part” of working with her spouse is “getting to experience all these other people on set realizing how incredible he is.”

Brie later added that she already knows how incredible her husband is as a director. But, for her, “it is really fun to watch all the new eyes kind of take him in.”

The engagement with the outlet occurred at the premiere of “Spin Me Round,” held at The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills on Wednesday.
