‘The Bachelorette’ Made A Mistake By Tapping Two Women To Find Love Together Because They Ended Up Competing With Each Other
The Bachelorette decided to do something different for Season 19. They tapped two former The Bachelor contestants who failed to find love to meet a group of men that they can potentially fall in love with. However, this isn’t what happened.
In its Aug. 22 issue, Star claimed that The Bachelorette didn’t anticipate the possibility that the two women would end up competing against each other.
“Producers thought having two women would be good for the show. Instead, it turned into a mess,” the source said.
Throughout the first few episodes, one of the contestants, Rachel Recchia said that she just wants to be chosen. After all, it seems that the men are more drawn to Gabby Windey than her.
According to the source, the producers are worried about Recchia’s mental health. And what’s worse is that they are convinced that it’s only a matter of time before she walks away from the process.
“There’s concern that Rachel’s becoming emotionally unglued and that she’ll have a meltdown. Rachel and Gabby may have been friends during The Bachelor, but there’s definite competition between them now. How could there not be? Gabby’s having a lot more luck with her dates than Rachel is,” the source said.
While it is true that Gabby is attracting more men right now, it’s not true that Rachel is struggling with her mental health or that she’s thinking about quitting.
Since The Bachelorette isn’t a live show, Rachel could no longer quit now because the episodes have already been taped weeks earlier.
So, it is possible for the reality TV star to have already found love. But it is also entirely possible for her to still be single.
In the same way, there’s also a chance for Gabby to have found love or she could also be single because anything can happen on the show.
During the previous season of The Bachelor, both Rachel and Gabby thought that Clayton Echard will give one of them his final rose. But this isn’t what happened.
Instead, he wanted to give his final rose to Susie Evans but the latter rejected it. It was only after they finished filming The Bachelor that the two got to talk and decided to date.
As of late, Susie and Clayton are still together.
