Olivia Wilde reportedly wants nothing but the “best” for her two children. This comes as she and her former partner, Jason Sudeikis, fight over where they will parent their kids.

Speaking to People, a source claimed that the 38-year-old actress is “upset about the custody drama.” As added, she and the father of her children “do not speak to each other.”

But, despite this, Wilde allegedly “wants to focus on what’s best for the kids.” It is also claimed that she “wants the kids to see” Sudeikis “as much as possible.”

The insider later noted that while the former couple no longer communicates with each other, “they have help communicating about the custody schedule.”

In the end, it is stated that the “Don’t Worry Darling” director “hopes” she and the “Ted Lasso” actor “can figure out the best living situation for everyone.”

Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis have yet to make official comments regarding the matter. It is also unclear whether the claims are legitimate that they are not on speaking terms.

Meanwhile, the latest assertions about the two celebrities come as the custody battle will reportedly likely move forward in California.

The 46-year-old actor brought a case against his former partner in New York City in October 2021. However, a judge granted the “In Time” actress’s motion to dismiss, noting that the children’s home state is California and not New York.

Page Six quoted the legal filing, signed on August 5, writing, “Judge Powell and this Referee agreed that New York was not the home state of the subject children; but rather California was the children’s home state.”

It continues, “Therefore, …respondent’s motion to dismiss the custody petitions filed on October 21, 2021 is granted as this court finds that New York does not have jurisdiction to hear the custody petitions as New York is not the home state of the subject children.”

The publication also said Olivia Wilde filed the motion to dismiss on May 18. It was reportedly a day after she filed a petition to “determine parental relationship in Superior Court of California, in [Los Angeles].”

The “TRON: Legacy” actress and the “Horrible Bosses” actor, who were together for nine years and engaged for seven of them, share two children. They first got together in 2011 and got engaged two years later.

Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde ended their relationship in November 2020, according to Us Weekly. They have since remained silent about their shocking breakup.
