Ben Affleck reportedly “struggled” with the number of paparazzi following him and Jennifer Lopez on their honeymoon in Paris. He is said to have felt “upset” over the matter, adding that it was “a whole new level.”

A source told Page Six that the “Justice League” actor was “a little freaked out” during their Parisian honeymoon. As claimed, it was an “almost Princess-Diana level” for him.

While Affleck is said to be “used to the flashing lights” due to his celebrity status, he allegedly “felt that the honeymoon was a tsunami.” It is added that “he still gets pissed off” despite Lopez remaining a “steel” and knowing “it comes with the territory.”

It is unclear, however, whether the claims are legitimate. The insider did not provide any evidence to support the assertions.

But, the publication recalled some of the headline-maker shots of Ben Affleck during his honeymoon with Jennifer Lopez.

These include the photo of him sleeping with his mouth open on a Seine river cruise trip, one, shedding tears alongside his wife at La Girafe, and another, locking lips at Le Matignon restaurant.

Fans would recall that excessive media attention was the reason behind the postponement of the two celebrities’ wedding in 2004.

In an official statement they released prior to that nuptial, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez said they had decided to postpone the date “due to the excessive media attention surrounding [their] wedding.”

The Mirror quoted the rest, writing, “We began to feel that the spirit of what should have been the happiest day of our lives could be compromised.”

It continues, “We felt what should have been a joyful and sacred day could be spoilt for us, our families and our friends.”

Lopez and Affleck never got to reschedule their wedding as they parted ways months later. They went on to tie the knot with their would-bes, Marc Anthony and Jennifer Garner, respectively.

Meanwhile, the DCEU actor is back in the United States following their honeymoon. He reunited with his former wife, Garner, and their son earlier this month, according to Harper's Bazaar.

As for the “Marry Me” actress, she remained in Europe due to her official activities. Reports said that she is currently in Italy as she recently performed at the LuisaViaRoma x Unicef Capri Gala.

Despite the distance and time apart, a source recently told HollywoodLife that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are okay with it. They are said to have known their respective careers’ demands.

The two celebrities allegedly believe that “spending time apart from each other makes them stronger.” As added, “It is perfect because when they are apart, they are making an extreme amount of money,” hence, “it is a win-win situation.”
