Julia Roberts is allegedly worried about Matthew Perry’s memoir because she’s convinced that the actor will spill shocking information about their previous relationship.

According to New Idea, Roberts and Perry fell in love with each other years ago. But even though they are public figures, they have both managed to keep their two-year relationship low-key and private. But this could change with the upcoming release of Perry’s memoir.

“Julia is worried about how much Matthew’s going to spill. Along with Jen Aniston, she’s another one on the list of people who want to see an advance copy of the memoir. She’s notoriously protective of her private life and there’s a very good reason why she and Matthew kept their relationship quiet,” the source said.

The source claimed that Perry and Roberts’ relationship became so serious to the point that the former even proposed to the latter multiple times. However, Roberts never accepted the proposal so their relationship didn’t progress into anything more serious.

Now, the source insisted that Roberts doesn’t want to revisit her relationship with Perry. So, she doesn’t want any information about their romance to be included in his memoir.

“It’s not a relationship she wants to rehash because, sadly, Matthew was another one of Julia’s big heartbreaks. In the end, she simply couldn’t compete with his addiction problems. But it would be a mistake to discount the influence that relationship had on them both. Julia’s hoping Matthew will do the right thing by her. She and Matthew made it clear he would be laying all his cards on the table,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. As of late, there’s no proof that Roberts and Perry dated years ago. And if they did, it’s not true that Perry tried proposing to the actress multiple times.

And it’s also unlikely for Perry to mention Roberts in his memoir because this is about him and not the actress.

By the looks of it, the tabloid just made up this claim to make it seem as though Perry’s gearing to drop major bombshells in his memoir even when he’s not.

In the past, there were also claims that Perry would target his Friends co-stars in his memoir and they’re also allegedly worried.
