Gavin Rossdale and Blake Shelton are allegedly facing a paternity crisis with regards to Gwen Stefani’s three children, Apollo, Kingston, and Zuma.

In its Aug. 15 issue, National Enquirer claimed that Rossdale wants his three children to know that he is a part of their lives. So, even if it’s been years since he and Stefani divorced, he still hangs out with his kids regularly.

However, Rossdale is allegedly having a hard time making memories with his children because of Shelton. Since the country singer is married to Stefani, he also treats his wife’s children as his own kids. And this is allegedly where the conflict between him and Rossdale begins.

“Gavin is trying very hard to parent alongside Gwen, but he wants to make it perfectly clear he is the father of their sons, not Blake. Gavin knows Gwen and Blake are huge stars, but he refuses to be forgotten as the father of his kids. That’s why he posted that photograph of them – to remind everyone, including the kids, he is their dad,” the source said.

The source added that Rossdale doesn’t concern himself with his ex-wife’s marriage to Shelton. In fact, he has already moved on from the No Doubt singer years after it was revealed that he cheated on Stefani. But when it comes to his kids, Rossdale is all ears.

“Gavin couldn’t care less about what Gwen and Blake have to say about their amazing romance but when it comes to his kids, he wishes they’d both just shut up. He’s fine being erased from Gwen’s history, but he won’t be erased from his kids’ past or their future,” the source said.

This isn’t the first time that Rossdale and Shelton were rumored to be competing with each other when it comes to their children. But other rumors have also plagued those two musicians.

For instance, there was a time when one tabloid claimed that Rossdale is struggling to move on from Stefani that’s why she decided to date someone that looks like his ex-wife.

And on another occasion, there were claims that Rossdale upset Shelton after the former told the latter that he’s fat and that he needs to lose weight.

However, none of these rumors are true. Rossdale and Shelton may not be best friends, but they’re not also feuding with each other.
