Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez allegedly fought while they were on their honeymoon.

An unnamed source told National Enquirer that Affleck felt the pressure of having to marry Lopez because the latter insisted. And since there’s no denying that the dad of three loves Lopez, he went with her plans.

However, it didn’t take long before Affleck realized that marrying Lopez too soon wasn’t the best thing for her to do. After all, Lopez is a diva, and her personality clashes with Affleck’s personality.

“Ben only agreed to elope because he was worn down and pressured into it. But he did so on the condition that there would be serious compromises,” the source said.

The insider claimed that Affleck doesn’t also understand why Lopez always needs to spend money on unimportant things.

“Ben hates all the over-the-top spending so of course, they’re butting heads over that. He also isn’t keen on the Bennifer brand, but Jennifer’s hell-bent on making them the king and queen of Hollywood,” the source said.

The source said that Lopez agreed to wed in Las Vegas and to spend $75 on their ceremony to show Affleck that she can be low-maintenance. However, this is the only time that Lopez didn’t spend too much on something.

“She’s trying to show Ben she can be low-maintenance but there’s only so long she’s going to be able to keep up that act. It’s a trainwreck waiting to happen. Ben admits that she’s been good for him but he’s pumping the brakes on letting her run his life. He draws the line at being ordered around like a puppy,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. There’s no proof that Affleck and Lopez feuded while they were on their honeymoon. This allegation seems absurd because photos of the couple always show them smiling and laughing with each other.

It’s not also true that Affleck was shocked to learn about Lopez’s extravagant spending because they have known each other for decades. In fact, the couple almost got married in 2002 but they decided to call off their engagement.

By the looks of it, the tabloid just made up this story about Lopez and Affleck to bust their bubble and happiness over the fact that they are finally married.
