Victoria Beckham and Nicola Peltz are allegedly in a “cold war.”

The 27-year-old actress became part of the Beckham household when she tied the knot with Brooklyn Beckham in April. However, Page Six learned that tensions between the Spice Girls alum and her daughter-in-law were on the rise even before the wedding.

A source, who is said to be close to the family, told the publication that the “build-up to the wedding was horrendous.” It is also stated that the two women “do not talk,” adding that “they can’t stand each other.” 

Peltz did not allegedly want her then-soon-to-be-mother-in-law “to be any part of the planning” of her and Brooklyn’s special day. While there was communication between them, it is claimed to be “minimal” as the actress “would not clue Victoria in on anything.”

The insider continued that things between Victoria Beckham and Nicola Peltz have become “non-stop petty drama,” and it is reportedly affecting the relationship between Brooklyn Beckham and his parents.

Posh Spice and her husband are said to have not spoken to their eldest child in the last few months.

Apart from Peltz's alleged "cold shoulder treatment" toward her mother-in-law, it is claimed that things went badly, as well, when Brooklyn referred to his wife as "The New Mrs. Beckham" in a cover feature for Tatler.

In the end, the sources reportedly suspect that the "Bates Motel" actress may be a "little jealous" of her husband's mother, and is not likely "thrilled with the attention she gets," especially around her wedding day.

Page Six reached out to the two personalities' respective reps, but it said both camps did not get back to them.

Alongside the silence of all parties involved, the insiders have not provided any evidence to prove the legitimacy and accuracy of the allegations. Unless otherwise stated, the claims remain unconfirmed.

This is not the first time, though, Nicola Peltz and Victoria Beckham faced feuding rumors. 

Earlier this week, a different set of sources claimed that watching Brooklyn Beckham grow close to his wife’s family has been “very difficult” for the famed fashion designer. She is allegedly “worried” about losing her son to the actress and her family, according to The Mirror.

But, like any mother, Victoria Beckham was thought to be “determined to stay on [Peltz]’s good side to ensure that does not happen.”

The outlet later noted that it contacted the celebrities’ respective reps for official comments.
