Chrissy Teigen Flaunts Baby Bump In Pregnancy Announcement: ‘We Have Another On The Way’
Chrissy Teigen said joy has filled their hearts again as she announced her pregnancy with John Legend.
On Wednesday, the 36-year-old model took her good news to Instagram and shared two photos of herself, flaunting her baby bump. She confirmed in her post that she and her husband are expecting their “rainbow baby” after the loss of their son in 2020.
The “Cravings” author noted in the caption that the last few years of her and Legend’s life “have been a blur of emotions.” She countered, however, that “joy has filled [their] home and hearts again” as they await the arrival of their new baby.
Teigen also stated, “1 billion shots later… we have another on the way.”
Fans would recall that the celebrity confirmed she was undergoing another round of IVF earlier this year. She updated the public on the matter on social media in February.
Hollywood Life quoted Chrissy Teigen, at the time, saying, “...I wanted to let you guys know how I’m balls deep in another IVF cycle to save as many eggos as I possibly can and hopefully make some strong, healthy embryos.”
In her pregnancy announcement, the supermodel shed some light on the process of going through it.
Mail Online quoted Teigen, sharing, “Every appointment I’ve said to myself, ‘ok if it’s healthy today I’ll announce’ but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still.”
It continues, “I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing.”
In the end, John Legend’s wife concluded that it has been “very hard” to keep it all in for so long.
Chrissy Teigen and the “All of Me” singer share two children. They confirmed their third pregnancy in 2020, but suffered a loss due to complications, according to Us Weekly.
The “Sports Illustrated” model opened up about the family’s loss of a son on Instagram in October of the same year, about a month after announcing their pregnancy. She said they were “shocked and in the kind of deep pain… [they’ve] never felt before.”
In December, Teigen made another update on the same platform, informing fans and followers that she would never be pregnant again. She expressed her sadness, noting that she loves being pregnant.
CNN said at the time that the celebrity did not clarify why she would not be pregnant again, whether it was a choice or not.
