Jason Momoa Receives Some ‘Love’ From Lenny Kravitz Following Lisa Bonet Split
Jason Momoa may have split with Lisa Bonet, but his ties to her first husband remain strong.
On Monday, Lenny Kravitz took his “love” and support toward the “Aquaman” actor to Instagram. He posted a photo of them together in celebration of his fellow celebrity’s 43rd birthday.
The photo features Momoa and the 58-year-old musician riding their motorcycles together. He captioned the post, writing, “Happy birthday, Jason. Love and respect always.”
Kravitz was Bonet’s first husband as they were married from 1987 to 1993. The two celebrities share a daughter, Zoe Kravitz, who is now 33 years old.
The DCEU actor, meanwhile, first got together with the “Cosby Show” actress in 2005. He eventually developed a close bond with his then-partner’s former husband, according to Us Weekly.
Lenny Kravitz’s post on Instagram is similar to the one he previously shared on the same platform.
In March, the “Are You Gonna Go My Way” singer uploaded a photo of him and Jason Momoa riding motorcycles. It appears to be a different shot, though, in comparison to his recent post for the actor’s birthday.
Kravitz captioned the post with “Ride or die. Brothers for life” and tagged the “Justice League” star.
Page Six later said Zoe Kravitz weighed in on the “cute moment” in the comment section of the post. She wrote, “Well isn’t this just adorable. Love you both so much.”
Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet were facing reconciliation rumors at the time Lenny Kravitz made his “brothers for life” post on Instagram. This led the former to address the matter a few days later.
The “Dune” actor spoke to Access Hollywood and set the record straight. He stated that he and the “Angel Heart” actress were “not back together.”
Momoa argued, though, that they were “still family” despite not reuniting.
Harper’s Bazaar quoted the celebrity, saying, “We’re family. We have two beautiful children together. We’re not getting back together. We’re family forever.”
Lisa Bonet and the “Game of Thrones” actor announced their split in January 2022. In a joint statement via Instagram, the then-pair said they were “parting ways in marriage” nearly five years after tying the knot and 17 years after first getting together.
Insider recalled that the two celebrities first met in 2005.
Jason Momoa reportedly shared in one of his previous interviews that he and his then-partner were in the right place at the right time.
The duo welcomed their first child together in 2007. They had their second, a son, a little over a year later.
In 2017, Momoa and Bonet secretly tied the knot.
