Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans may be co-stars in their new movie, The Gray Man but this doesn’t mean that they are the best of friends behind closed doors.

In its Aug. 8 issue, New Idea claimed that Evans and Gosling do not really vibe with each other. And this became evident during the premiere of their new movie.

“They were cordial to each other but that’s not what you want in your two leads. Chris and Ryan just don’t click. They barely shared more than a few words with each other during filming,” the source said.

The source also claimed that Gosling made fun of Evans on multiple occasions while they were promoting their project. And the former didn’t seem to have any care in the world if he offended the latter.

However, it seems that the tabloid just took Gosling’s statement out of context. After all, he previously teased Evans about his hair and the latter joked that the comment hurt his feelings.

But this doesn’t mean that Gosling and Evans are not on good terms or that they don’t get along. The tabloid’s claims are obviously incorrect.

Last week, Gosling was asked by The Hollywood Reporter to say what he thinks about Evans’ mustache. He previously called it trash stache and stuck by it when the publication asked him, according to E! News.

In the movie, Evans sported the mustache for his role but it’s not as if he plans to keep it until after the movie is released.

This proves that the tabloid really just exaggerated their claims to make it seem as though there are tensions between the A-listers.

The Gray Man follows the life of CIA agent Court Gentry, who is on the run from Lloyd Hanson after discovering corrupt secrets from his supervisor.

The film is produced by the Russo brothers’ company, AGBO and it is based on the Gray Man novels.

The movie currently airs on Netflix. And its other cast members include Ana de Armas, Dhanush, Rege-Jean Page, Julia Butters, Jessica Henwick, Wagner Moura, and more.

As of late, it’s still unclear what other projects Gosling and Evans will be starring in. But as of writing, there’s no indication that they will be working in another movie anytime soon.
