Florence Pugh Allegedly Unhappy With Olivia Wilde, Harry Styles Romance Ahead ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ Premiere
Florence Pugh and Olivia Wilde currently face feud rumors ahead of the premiere of “Don’t Worry Darling.” As claimed, the former “has fallen out” with the latter over her relationship with co-star Harry Styles.
An insider recently told Page Six that seeing the director and the “As It Was” singer “all over each other on set did not go down well” for the 26-year-old actress. This reportedly came after “[Wilde] was still with Jason [Sudeikis] when she first hooked up with [Styles].”
The publication later quoted the informant, saying, “Jason and the kids visited Olivia on set at the beginning a few times, so I think this all made people feel a little uncomfortable.”
The “Ted Lasso” star and the “In Time” actress ended their romance in November 2020. At the time, sources were said to have cited the latter’s relationship with Harry Styles as the reason for the split.
Meanwhile, no official comments have been heard from the involved celebrities yet, including Florence Pugh. It remains unclear whether the latest claims are legitimate.
Even so, Page Six noted that the assertions come amid reports of a feud between the “Black Widow” actress and Olivia Wilde. It said that internet sleuths are certain “something is up” between the two personalities.
The outlet cited Pugh’s silence over their upcoming film, “Don’t Worry Darling,” on social media. As explained, she did not react to any of the posts Wilde had made, including the official trailer of the material, as well as a shoutout to her, with the director touting the young celebrity’s skills as an actress.
Reportedly, this is despite the Marvel star making an update on social media on the same day. As noted, she posted a teaser trailer for a different project, “Oppenheimer.”
The alleged feud between Olivia Wilde and Florence Pugh first surfaced on media platforms earlier this week. Distractify released a run-down on the matter, detailing the allegations and speculations.
However, no proof has since come to light to prove the claims. This then makes the narrative highly speculative at best.
“Don’t Worry Darling” is a psychological thriller title, serving as Wilde’s sophomore feature. It stars Florence Pugh and Harry Styles as the leads, who are a married couple.
Deadline reported earlier this week that the material was confirmed for an Out of Competition slot at the Venice Film Festival. It also revealed that the lead stars and other cast members, like Chris Pine and Gemma Chan, including Olivia Wilde, will tread the red carpet.
