Jennifer Garner and Jennifer Lopez aren’t allegedly the best of friends. As such, the 13 Going on 30 alum is stressing over the fact that she needs to play nice with Lopez now that she’s already married to Ben Affleck.

In its Aug. 8 issue, National Enquirer claimed that Garner has long moved on from Affleck. But the actor’s surprise wedding to Lopez still devastated her.

“Jennifer would never rain on Ben’s parade publicly – least of all at a time like this – and she respects his decisions, but it’s an open secret she doesn’t care for J.Lo and she’s skeptical whether this is the right long-term match. She’s still processing the news and very shocked and kind of devastated, partly because she didn’t think he’d go through it but also because of her feelings toward J.Lo,” the source said.

The insider claimed that Garner is already dreading the fact that she needs to spend more time with Lopez, especially since they do not get along well.

However, the Alias star doesn’t have much choice because she needs to respect Affleck’s decision. And she also needs to remember that Lopez is now the stepmom of her three children, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel.

According to the source, Garner also knows her ex-husband really well. As such, she immediately figured out that Affleck wasn’t the one who wanted to get married ASAP. Instead, he was just forced into making that decision because he doesn’t want Lopez to break up with him.

“Ben didn’t really have much of a choice in this if he wanted to stay with her. She’s now pushing him hard for a follow-up ceremony in L.A. that’ll be monumentally expensive and fit for Hollywood royalty. She really does see her and Ben as a modern-day Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton,” the source said.

And then there are also rumors regarding the couple’s baby plans. A second source claimed that Affleck and Lopez want to have a baby together. And they will most likely do it via a surrogate. If this doesn’t work out, the A-listers are also open to adopting a baby.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Garner has a problem with Lopez. And it’s also untrue that Affleck and Lopez want to have a baby together.
