Brad Pitt allegedly refused to back down from his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie.

According to Life & Style, Pitt is doing everything that he can to make sure that he will maintain his relationship with his children.

Sources claimed that Jolie is trying to stall her custody battle with Pitt to block him from having a relationship with their minor kids.

But the Maleficent star was unable to stop her ex-husband from booking a flight to Italy where Vivienne and Knox celebrated their 14th birthday.

“Brad refuses to allow Angie to mess with his relationship with the kids any longer even if it means he has to fly halfway around the world to visit them,” the source said.

While in Italy, Pitt allegedly hung out with his kids in a private swimming pool until sunset before returning to his hotel.

“One of their favorite things to do as a family is watching movies, but they enjoy doing a vast range of fun activities together – from skateboarding to shopping online. Despite everything, Brad still has a close relationship with his youngest kids,” the source said.

The source also said that even though Jolie and Pitt crossed paths at Vivienne and Knox’s birthday party, the exes didn’t talk to each other. Both parties felt that there was no reason for them to act amicably and pretend that everything was fine.

“Brad and Angie don’t talk or see each other and anything related to the children is organized via a third party. If Angelina had it her way, he’d be banned from seeing the kids all together. She has gone out of her way to turn the children against Brad and the boys are staunchly Team Angie. The situation saddens Brad deeply. All he’s ever wanted is to be a hands-on dad with all of his children,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. Multiple publications have been saying that Pitt traveled to Italy to attend his children’s 14th birthday celebration. But there are no photos to prove their claims.

It’s also unlikely for Jolie to allow Pitt to be with their kids while they were outside the country because they haven’t finalized the details of their custody battle.

For now, Pitt and Jolie’s relationship also remains estranged.
