The newly wedded couple marked the special day by having a romantic dinner date in Paris on Sunday. Page Six said they were at the gourmet restaurant La Girafe, which is situated in front of the Eiffel Tower.

Several photos of the intimate celebration have emerged on media platforms. One of the pictures shows Affleck in “deep waterworks” as he gets teary-eyed beside his wife.

It remains unclear why the “Justice League” actor was in tears during the birthday dinner. When the publication asked for a comment, reps for the celebrity couple did not immediately respond.

Despite the lack of information, some images from the night feature Jennifer Lopez consoling Ben Affleck. The outlet later described it as a “tender moment” between the married couple.

Nevertheless, it reportedly appears that they were “happy tears” because the two celebrities were seen sharing a few laughs after they had gotten emotional.

Meanwhile, the photo agency that took the shots of Lopez and Affleck during the celebratory dinner shared with the publication what happened afterward. As reported, the “On The Floor” singer and the “Accountant” star returned to their hotel after she blew out her candles.

Earlier that day, a separate report from Page Six said Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez enjoyed a “romantic stroll” in the streets of the City of Love. As described, the pair “looked smitten” as they cuddled up close while walking.

A witness also told the outlet that the “Marry Me” star and the “Armageddon” actor walked through the Jardin des Tuileries earlier on Sunday. They then reportedly had lunch at LouLou Paris and later checked out the La Galerie Dior.

The same publication learned from sources that Affleck and Lopez have been staying at the Hotel de Crillon. It is said to be on the Champs-Elysees, the home to the iconic fashion district off of the Right Bank of the Seine.

The two celebrities were first spotted in Paris on Thursday, nearly a week after officially tying the knot in Las Vegas. Reports believe the newly married couple is on their honeymoon, noting that it marked their first international trip since the wedding.

On the first day of the trip, the “Selena” actress donned a bright red maxi dress and her hair tied in a messy bun, according to Us Weekly.

As for the “Gone Girl” star, he wore a formal ensemble for the outing.
