Hayden Panettiere is allegedly begging her friends to help her find a job in Hollywood since she hasn’t been getting any offers in recent months.

In its Aug. 1 issue, National Enquirer claimed that Panettiere is desperate to have work because she needs the money.

The actress recently made headlines after she admitted to being addicted to opioids and alcohol. But Panettiere also assured those close to her that she was already getting the help that she needs.

“Hayden knows she’s burned more than her share of bridges and she’s hoping her old friends will help her regain what was once a promising career,” the source said.

The source also claimed that Panettiere wants to be part of Scream so she has been reaching out to the producers. However, she hasn’t received any response from their end.

While waiting for an offer that she can’t refuse, the source claimed that the actress is focused on her recovery.

“Hayden’s doing her best to manage her sobriety and steer clear of Brian. But she’s still having trouble convincing casting agents she can be trusted and is literally begging her famous friends to vouch for her,” the source said.

Earlier this month, the actress spoke with People to talk about her recent struggles. The Nashville alum also acknowledged the fact that she was on top of the world and getting offers left and right but she decided to ruin it because of her addiction.

But after years of struggling with her addiction, Panettiere decided to finally get help.

“I put a lot of work into myself and I had to be willing to be incredibly honest. This hasn't been easy and there were a lot of ups and downs but I don’t regret even the ugliest things that have happened to me. I feel incredibly accomplished. And I feel like I have a second chance,” she said.

While it is true that Panettiere is trying to stay sober, it’s not true that she’s asking her friends in Hollywood to vouch for her. It’s not also true that she’s forcing the producers of Scream to include her in the upcoming installment because she has already been cast to reprise her role.

By the looks of it, the tabloid just exaggerated their claims to make it seem as though Panettiere is still struggling to get better even when she’s not.
