Amanda Bynes and Paul Michael have allegedly ended their three-year relationship.

A source recently claimed that Bynes was spotted storming out of a restaurant while she was with Michael and it was obvious that the former child star was upset.

Even though the tabloid doesn’t know exactly what happened, they still assumed that the couple got into a heated fight.

Since Bynes has a history of drinking and using drugs, the source told National Enquirer that the actress’s friends are worried about her. After all, they think that Bynes could go into relapse triggered by her heartbreak.

“Amanda’s relationship with Paul has been hanging by a thread and the break came after a tense discussion about whether to have a baby. They’re both recovering from addiction issues and he didn’t feel it was fair to bring a baby into the situation. She couldn’t change his mind and it frustrated her,” the source told National Enquirer. 

The source also stressed that the split could be detrimental to Bynes’ sobriety. After all, she has been at risk of suffering from mental breakdowns but the last time this happened was in 2013.

“Now that her relationship is all but over, people close to her fear her mental health is in jeopardy,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. As of writing, there’s no proof that Bynes is at risk of relapsing because she and Michael have not broken up.

Earlier this month, Entertainment Tonight confirmed that the couple called off their engagement, but they didn’t break up.

“They are still together as a couple, but they have put a pause on their engagement and wedding planning. They have gone through ups and downs together and personally and realized they might have moved quickly, but they love each other and are still committed to one another,” the source said.

Even though the couple’s wedding won’t happen anytime soon, there’s no denying the fact that Bynes and Michael are still madly in love with each other.

Two years ago, Michael even professed his love for the actress by saying that Bynes was the best thing that ever happened to him.

He also said that they take good care of each other and try to understand each other the best way they know how.
