Miranda Lambert’s husband, Brendan McLoughlin has allegedly been relying on the singer for all his monetary needs.

A source told National Enquirer that McLoughlin was forced to quit his job in the force when he married Lambert. Even though he doesn’t regret his decision to do so, McLoughlin doesn’t have any source of income so he needs his wife’s help.

“Brendan doesn’t regret leaving his job with the NYPD but he’s forced to go to Miranda for money if he needs anything like new socks. It’s awkward for him especially when it happens in front of friends,” the source said.

The source also claimed that Lambert doesn’t mind helping her husband financially. However, she’s the one who controls the shot when it comes to how much she would give McLoughlin at any given time.

“He’s mortified asking for money. It’s chipping away at his pride. He already does so much for Miranda and happily cleans up after her and cooks for her. Giving him a salary like she does her roadies and band members would make him feel part of the team and less like an emasculated husband. But she hasn’t said yes or not and it’s driving him crazy,” the source said.

Meanwhile, this isn’t the only rumor that’s been surrounding Lambert and McLoughlin in recent months.

In April, one tabloid claimed that the couple is expecting their first child together. After all, Lambert allegedly showed signs that she was sporting a growing baby bump.

However, several months have already passed but there’s still no update regarding Lambert’s alleged pregnancy. This proves that the tabloid just made up this story.

A week earlier, another tabloid alleged that Lambert banned McLoughlin from joining her on her Las Vegas tour. A source claimed that music is something that’s very close to Lambert’s heart so she wants to be able to do this on her own.

And since she and McLoughlin are always together, she doesn’t want her husband around when she’s busy performing for her fans.

However, one should take the tabloids’ claims with a grain of salt. There’s no proof that Lambert and McLoughlin are having problems with money. And it’s not true that the latter is asking his wife for financial support.

It’s not also true that Lambert banned McLoughlin from attending her Las Vegas shows.
