Jennifer Lopez has a wonderful relationship with Ben Affleck’s friends except for one: Matt Damon.

In its July 28 issue, Heat UK claimed that Lopez doesn’t trust Damon because he’s Affleck’s best friend. Ironically, this makes the Hustlers star think that Affleck rats out their issues to Damon all the time.

To prevent this from happening, a source claimed that Lopez sees to it that she follows her husband everywhere.

“She’s turning up to the set whenever she can, then grilling Ben about what they’ve discussed when he gets home, which is the last thing he needs after a hard day at work,” the source said.

The source also claimed that the recent controversies that Lopez is involved in might have encouraged her to become increasingly paranoid. After all, she was scrutinized for the comments that she made in her Netflix documentary, Halftime.

“Jennifer is dealing with a lot right now. The whole point of the documentary was to deepen the conversation about Jennifer and her career, but the negatives are starting to outweigh the positives. Then there’s the Ben and Matt situation, which has really got under her skin. Beyond all that, Jennifer is going through a demanding time as a mom as she really wants to be under the same roof as her kids as much as possible while they’re on summer vacation. Everything right now feels like it’s really testing her patience and resilience,” the source said.

Last week, National Enquirer published a similar story about Lopez. The tabloid claimed that she’s not good friends with Affleck’s best bud, Damon.

The source alleged that Lopez was convinced Damon knows all of Affleck’s issues with her. And if it’s up to the mom of two, she wants to keep the problems between her and Affleck.

The insider also claimed that Lopez doesn’t have a relationship with Damon or his wife, Luciana that’s why she doesn’t have any problem burning bridges with the actor.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. As of late, there’s no proof that Lopez wants Affleck to distance himself from Damon.

And it’s not also true that Lopez is stressing a lot over the negative comment that she received following the release of Halftime.

By the looks of it, the tabloids just concocted this storyline to make it seem as though there’s tension between the newlyweds.
