Romeo Beckham is allegedly reeling from his recent split from Mia Regan.

In its July 25 issue, New Idea claimed that Beckham and Regan called it quits because their relationship couldn’t survive the distance.

The teenagers first met when Beckham was still living in England. But he and his family recently moved to Miami.

“Essentially, the long-distance relationship at their young ages took its toll. The pair still support each other in their respective careers,” the source said.

The tabloid’s recent claim is a far cry from stories that were published about Beckham and Regan a month ago.

In April, Heat UK claimed that Victoria Beckham was busy planning her son Romeo’s wedding to Mia.

A source claimed that the Spice Girls member wants to become a young grandma that’s why she encouraged Romeo to tie the knot shortly after Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz wed.

“Victoria would love to have another family wedding to look forward to. She was so impressed with the way Brooklyn and Nicole pulled off their big day without a hitch a got the whole world talking about the Beckham name again. It was a wonderful day full of love and fun for the family and really bolstered their brand. And she wants to keep that momentum going with help from Romeo and his girlfriend, Mia,” the source said.

The source also claimed that engagement is very important for Victoria. In fact, she’s OK if Romeo and Mia decide to wait a year or two before they officially seal the deal. But as long as they’re engaged, she would be at peace.

“She’d be very pleased with Romeo popped the question very soon. Vic says it doesn’t matter if they stay engaged for a year or two before the wedding just so long as they lock down a date so she can start getting everyone excited and inviting all the A-list guests,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.

As of late, there’s no proof that Romeo and Mia already called it quits. And it’s even more untrue that Victoria is pressuring the teenagers to get engaged and eventually settle down.

By the looks of it, the tabloid is just saying that the couple is no longer together because there has been much update about their relationship as o late.
