Meghan Markle is reportedly on a path to unparalleled stardom after scoring deals left and right since quitting The Firm.

In the documentary Harry & Meghan vs The Monarch, royal author Dylan Howard claimed that the Duchess of Sussex may have just created her own type of celebrity.

After all, she joined the royal family for a short period of time and boosted her marketability after marrying Prince Harry. So, even after she quit The Firm in 2020, several companies still want to work with her.

“They’ve created a new standard, and that is one to exploit themselves for profit.  Meghan is creating a new form of celebrity for herself by securing deals with media conglomerates in the tens and hundreds of millions of dollars. It sets her on a path to unparalleled stardom,” he said (via Express).

But even if Markle and her husband, Prince Harry signed lucrative deals with a slew of companies after they quit The Firm, they are now being criticized for their inability to produce actual content.

Prince Harry is scheduled to release a documentary on the Invictus Games sometime next year. Markle was supposed to release an animated series called Pearl, but Netflix axed it alongside several other animated shows after losing millions of subscriptions.

For Spotify, Prince Harry and Markle appeared in a podcast around Christmas time. But they have not released any other content for the music streaming platform.

Months ago, they announced that they will be releasing a series of episodes under the title Archetypes, but nothing has been released as of writing.

Comedian Diane Spencer even went as far as accusing Prince Harry of not knowing what he wants and this is why his memoir hasn’t been released.

“I don't think he knows what he wants at all. And I’m not surprised that they haven’t announced this book because they’re supposed to be doing a podcast on Spotify. They’re supposed to be doing a series for Netflix. And he has failed to do any of these things. And he’s supposed to be writing a book. He’s producing no content whatsoever. His only content is chatting to Oprah,” she said (via Express).

Speaking of Oprah Winfrey, there are rumors that Prince Harry and Markle would be appearing in a second tell-all with the talk show host.
