Meghan Markle’s life in Montecito has allegedly been very peaceful.

According to Closer UK, the Duchess of Sussex hangs out with Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King most of the time at Winfrey’s home. After all, the trio is good friends.

“She spends a fair amount of time at Oprah’s palatial house, where they’ll kick back with her closest friend, Gayle King, and talk about everything from Meghan’s future plans to what’s going on back in the UK and how Harry’s coping with everything. Despite her former acting career, she doesn’t go to the movies much but they’ve been known to watch private screenings at Oprah’s place, and other power players in LA have hosted them for dinner parties and spiritual gatherings,” the source said.

The insider also claimed that Markle is a self-confessed foodie so she makes it a point to always try new high-end restaurants in the area. One of her favorite places to dine is at the sushi restaurant or some of the Mexican places and steakhouses in Montecito.

But while Markle is busy dining out and hanging out with her friends at Winfrey’s home, Prince Harry is allegedly the one who stays with their children in true househusband fashion.

“He’s up at the crack of dawn getting the kids fed, washed, and dressed. Meghan’s often very busy on business Zoom calls or nipping into LA for meetings, which Harry often chauffeurs her to. Then he’s back to the kids as soon as possible because he doesn’t like leaving them with nannies,” the source said.

But despite the setup, the source insisted that Prince Harry is more than happy to be staying at home with his children. In fact, he’s also supportive of Markle’s political plans even if this means she would have less time with them.

After all, the Duke of Sussex couldn’t allegedly wait to receive a new label of being the First Gentleman of the United States.

“Having said that, he might be fine with it right now but you have to wonder for how much longer,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt because they are all based on rumors and speculations. No one knows for sure what Prince Harry and Markle do behind closed doors.
