Pete Davidson Reveals He Wants To Become Father, ‘Excited’ To Have Kids
Pete Davidson has a dream, and it is about becoming a father.
The 28-year-old comedian shared his revelations to Kevin Hart in an upcoming episode of “Hart to Heart.” Page Six said a sneak peek of the material first emerged on Tuesday.
The publication quoted the celebrity, saying, “[I’m] definitely a family guy. My favorite thing ever, which I’ve yet to achieve, is I want to have a kid.”
Davidson added that it is his “dream” to become a father.
The “King of Staten Island” later tried to deem the matter “super corny,” with reports saying he had tried to justify his wishes of having a child. But, Hart countered and noted that “it is not super corny” as “it is the best God**** thing” a person can do in life.
Upon hearing the words of his fellow comedian, Pete Davidson continued that fatherhood would be “so fun.” He also asserted that he is “so excited for that chapter,” adding that it is something he is “preparing for now.”
Elsewhere in the sneak peek, the “Saturday Night Live” alum and the “Ride Along” actor discussed their respective experiences with “childhood trauma.”
The reputed publication quoted Davidson, sharing, “I tell my friends that all the time, I’m like ‘if everything was fine, if my childhood was fine, I’d probably be a construction worker in Staten Island.’”
He continues, “I’d be like the happiest guy ever, but that weird s*** that it does to you, made me love comedy.”
Us Weekly said Pete Davidson appears to be “practicing his parenting skills” in his relationship with Kim Kardashian, who shares four children with Kanye West.
A source previously told the outlet that the reality star “loves how great [he] is with the kids.” Also, the comedian is a “big kid himself and makes them laugh.”
A second insider also shared similar assertions about the former “SNL” player and said Davidson “bonded” with Kardashian’s children, as well as her “entire family.”
The SKIMS founder has appeared to be looking forward, as well, to her future, amid her relationship with the comedian. She once told pals Simon Huck and Phil Riportella that she has hopes to have another wedding.
People noted that fans and followers learned about the exchange in a previous episode of “The Kardashians.” The moment came after Travis Barker proposed to Kourtney Kardashian in late 2021.
Kim Kardashian stated that “marriages come and go” while having a baby means “you’re stuck for life.” She argued, however, that she believes “in love,” before revealing her hopes of having “one more wedding” as the “fourth time’s the charm."
